Good morning NAS students! Don't forget, today is STAR testing. Testing starts at 8:30 for all students. Be there on time to be entered into a drawing for a free IPad!

Happy New Year NAS families! Classes resume Tuesday January 6th. Many teachers have moved classrooms, so you will need to look closely at your new schedule for room numbers. If you park in the East lot, you will need to see Greg this week for a new spot in the front. We can't wait to see you again and are looking forward to a wonderful spring semester!

Hello New America families!!!! We are reaching out to you to inform you that our Student leadership Class is hosting a campus clean up event this Saturday Nov. 15, we will be starting at 11 and ending at or around 2pm. Teachers will be offering extra credit to students who attend. Thank you!

Hello New America Families! This is a reminder that tomorrow is our Fiesta De Mayo! The Festivities will kick off at noon with a student dodgeball tournament and Advisory games. Families are welcomed on campus to join the festivities at 2pm. Please bring cash for raffles and snacks!

Hello New America Students and Parents, We are gearing up to celebrate our annual prom this upcoming Thursday April 17th. Tickets are 10$ for singles 15$ for couples and we are looking forward to seeing you all in your best formal wear to celebrate with us! Good evening NAS families! Reminder that this Wednesday and Thursday are Student Led Conferences with no regularly scheduled classes. Students are encouraged to come in for support with any missing work prior to the lock date on Friday. Attendance for these two days is based on your participation in conferences. We look forward to seeing you this week!

Tomorrow NAS-NM 11th graders will be taking the New Mexico Assessment for Science Readiness. Students should arrive by 8:30 and will be dismissed after lunch. This is a mandatory test and attendance will be taken. We had a great turnout for the SAT, let's make this one even better!

Hello, Families and Students of NASNM! Although regular classes are out for spring break next week, NAS campus will be open March 17th-20th, from 9am to 2pm, for students to get support for failed Q3 classes. Monday's session will be in classroom 9, Tuesday's session will be in classroom 8, Wednesday and Thursday sessions will be in Classroom 11. Students should report directly to the classrooms as the front office will be closed for the break. Semester Report cards have been mailed home! Have a wonderful Spring Break! Regular classes resume March 24th.

Hello, NAS Families, Due to the severe dust storm we are experiencing, NAS is under a shelter in place until further notice. Students will be kept inside during release for their health and safety. If picking up your student, tell the staff member outside who you are here for, and they will come out to you. Students who walk after school will be held unless parents come for them or parents call the school and give permission to release their child into the weather. If you have questions, please contact the school at 505-222-4360.

Hello, NASNM Families, Did you know? We have so many free resources available for families of NASNM, in our Family Resource room. Along with the basics, such as school supplies, clothing, shoes, and non-perishable food items, we also have home goods such as laundry detergent, personal hygiene/bath items, cosmetics, and over-the counter vitamins! Just in time for the cold and flu season! The family resource room is open before and after school each day, and on Fridays.
